Defence Minister Rajnath Singh and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Sunday performed Bhoomi Pujan for 14 development projects worth more than ₹100 crore at Lucknow Cantonment.
The projects include infrastructure upgrades, water-supply improvements, public facilities, sports infrastructure and facilities aimed at improving services for residents of the cantonment.

The projects include a 1,500-KL underground reservoir, replacement of old and outlived water-supply pipelines, and construction of eight tubewells equipped with SCADA automation. The programme also includes the construction of overhead water tanks with SCADA systems, designed to improve monitoring and management of water distribution.
