Taiwan’s Coast Guard Administration said its patrol vessel Yunlin encountered two Chinese fishing boats near Dongsha Island on October 1.
The vessels were identified as Yue Hui Dong Yu 75066 and Jin Sha and were found about 27 nautical miles east of Dongsha Island, according to the Coast Guard.
