Newly appointed BJP in-charge for Mizoram Bhagwat Kishanrao Karad has said that the party’s central leadership is taking the 2028 Assembly elections in the state very seriously.
Speaking to reporters in Aizawl on October 5, Karad said his appointment as the party’s Mizoram in-charge reflected the importance the BJP’s central leadership attaches to the upcoming elections. He said he would visit Mizoram regularly to help strengthen the party organisation at the grassroots level.
