Congress president and Rajya Sabha Leader of Opposition Mallikarjun Kharge has written to Union Minister and Rajya Sabha Leader of the House J.P. Nadda, seeking an FIR against those allegedly involved in the ‘shuddhikaran’ ritual held at Ramlila Maidan in Haldwani after his public meeting on August 8.
In his September 2 letter, Kharge reminded Nadda of his assurance in the Rajya Sabha that the incident would be investigated and strict action would be taken against those found responsible.
