Tripura Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha launched the ‘Seva First Innovation Challenge 2026’ at a programme held at Women’s College in Agartala on October 1.
The initiative, being organised under the Seva Sankalp Abhiyan, seeks to encourage students, researchers, innovators and startups to develop innovative solutions to challenges related to governance and public-service delivery.

Addressing the gathering, Dr. Saha said Tripura’s youth are an important human resource and have the potential to contribute to the state’s development through innovation, technology and entrepreneurship. He stressed the importance of combining education with modern technology and practical learning.
At the same programme, the Chief Minister launched the Mukhyamantri Yuba Yogayog Yojana for the academic year 2025-26 and inaugurated Digi-SAPNE 3.0, the Digital Startup Accelerator Program for the North East.
The programme also marked the inauguration of the renovated and developed Matangini Pritilata Auditorium at Women’s College, Agartala.
