A West Bengal-registered sleeper bus travelling from Srinagar towards Jammu overturned inside a tunnel near Maroog on the Jammu-Srinagar National Highway (NH-44) in Ramban district on Thursday, injuring 33 passengers.
The bus, bearing registration number WB39K-2929, was carrying 55 passengers when the accident occurred. The injured passengers were shifted to District Hospital Ramban for treatment with the assistance of police, SDRF, CRPF, Army personnel and Civil Quick Response Team volunteers.
